ISR Community of Caring Responds to a Tragedy
Homestead, Florida
In the wake of the tragic drowning death of 2-year-old Jaylen Whipple, son of a Homestead Police Detective, the ISR Community of Caring reached out to the families of the Homestead Police Department employees.
ISR matched the contribution of Master Instructor Kate Eckert to donate lessons for their children. We also provided drowning prevention education for the parents. With the mission of preventing another tragedy from striking this community, ISR and the Homestead Police Department are working to expand the program.
Through fundraising efforts and support from both ISR and the Homestead Police Department, the ISR program will be available at the Roby George Park Pool in Homestead for years to come.
