Sacramento, CA -  Infant Swimming Resource (ISR, www.infantswim.com), the safest provider of survival swimming lessons for children from six months to six years old, today announced that its Greater Sacramento area Instructors will be hosting a Water Safety Awareness Event at the Gold River Racquet Club on Saturday, May 21, from 3:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. PDT.
Infant Swimming Resource of the Greater Sacramento area will be showcasing local students with ISR’s Self-Rescue skills in the pool.

“The focus of this event will be to educate the community about drowning prevention and the importance of survival swimming skills,” said Jan Orwick, ISR certified Master Instructor. “Sometimes, everything we do is not enough to keep a child from drowning. Even with alarms, door locks, pool fences and supervision, children can escape from protective care and find themselves in trouble. At ISR, we arm children with the skills to survive if they were to accidentally end up in the water alone.”
