Not One More Child Drowns 5K and Water Safety Day

ISR Certified Instructors in Brevard County, Florida are hosting the 3rd Annual Not One More Child Drowns 5K and Water Safety Day at Wickham Park next Saturday, May 26.

The Not One More Child Drowns 5K race begins at 7:30 a.m. Families can choose to run or walk and awards will be given to the top participants in the following categories: Male/Female: Top 3 Overall, Top Masters Age Groups: Male/Female Top 3 in each age group starting at 5 & Under, 6-10, 11-12, 13-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75 & Over. Participants may register online for the 5K at Active.com.

Families are invited to enjoy free activities during the Water Safety Day that will take place following the race. Free bounce houses, games and face painting will be available and families can meet community water safety experts such as ISR Certified Instructors Carmen Glasser and Briana Craycoft, Brevard County Firefighters and Lifeguards, Life Preservers of Brevard, Josh the Otter, and more. There will also be a silent auction and raffle prizes including the grand prize – 6 weeks of  swimming lessons!
