As a parent who did not grow up near large bodies of water, I knew that ISR was extremely important for my child now that we live in Florida. I was extremely nervous to start because my son is my whole world and I think there’s a lot of fear around baby swim lessons but when I found Ellen S and had my first phone call with her I knew that this was something that we had to do. She had extreme passion for teaching children these life saving skills. From lesson one, I could see and feel how passionate she was and how committed she is to each child as I watched her give lessons to my child and the children after I am very happy to see the progress made every day in every week. I really like her approach of not only giving the child lessons but also explaining what she’s doing for the parent so that we can learn too.

Kristi has been such a pleasure to have as an instructor - she has been so calm, observant of both my child's and my emotions throughout the process, responsive, gracious, and a wonderful presence. I deeply appreciate whenever she explains what she's doing and points things out to me. She has been so kind in regards to scheduling issues and very understanding. She clearly is very skilled and I'm so thankful to have lessons with her!

She has been helpful in guiding us with further safety techniques and tips on when to intervene or progress in my daughter's learning. She is super encouraging and does not use pejorative language. Wonderful instructor and great experience overall. My daughter is three and half, she had never taken swim lessons. Initially she was scared of the water. Ms. Eli was patient and helped her overcome that fear by teaching her the swim skills necessary to help her feel confident in the water. She learned to swim and float in 6-8 weeks.

Eric J did a wonderful job with both of my children! He is also highly organized and an effective communicator. This allows for a busy mom of three to plan accordingly for lessons, including maintenance lessons, well in advance-a gift. I feel confident with both of my children (ages 4-almost 5, and 3) being in and around the water safely thanks to their ISR skills that Eric taught them! Shanon
